Hugs, Pools, and Birthdays

Before we delve into birthday photos, here is the past week.

 My anniversary flowers in bloom!

Reading to Man-cub. Cute FYI--Bean Bean calls Man-cub "Bubby" or "Bub."

Playing in Bean Bean's pink birthday pool!

Big Sis LOVES to hold, kiss, and hug Man-cub.
And everyone had matching patriotic pjs.

More Big Sis and Man-cub pictures...in pjs again.

Showing off some cool "stra-ches" (stretches).

Big Sis' Birthday! She's 4!

We gave her a mini trampoline which pleases both Big Sis and us. Big Sis had asked for one several months ago so she was delighted to get one, and we really need something to burn off extra energy in the house when it's scorching hot out or we don't get to go to the park.

This picture is one of my favorites...makes me laugh every time.

Big Sis had her first friend party.
Theme: Fairy Princess

We made wands out of left over PF Chang's chopsticks.

The party favor was a pair of fairy wings, and I used my Cricut to make crowns.

And the deco.
Purple streamers and dangling 4's, butterflies, and flowers.

We danced, read fairy stories, ate mini chocolate cupcakes and vanilla ice-cream with rainbow sprinkles, and colored fairy pictures.
It was 'fairy' magical.

The End of February

Aunt D before the Valentine's Dance!

Getting used to our new ride. Big Sis likes it more than the picture lets on.

My Valentine's roses bloomed into huge blossoms. Big Sis and I took whiff's of them any chance we got.

Smoothies are a big hit around here. Baby Beluga tends to eat them better from a bowl.

Except sometimes she forgets what bowls are for and insists that they are hats...or other things.

You can't see it but there's a strawberry being squished in those little hands....

Crazy lion mane after the cute ponytail from the above picture.

Classic furrowed brow, very concerned voice...probably saying something like "I need _____." or "I want ____."

Someone found Dad's shoes! She tried on several different pairs.
