Bubby's Birthday

This cute little guy is 1 year old!
And he is our "little" guy. He is still in the 17lb range and is wearing 6-9m sized clothes (although I think he might be finally outgrowing the 6 month size!)

Here we are at the park playing with Dad! He went down to Mexico for a whole month back in March and it was a glorious reunion to have him home!

This is our spontaneous drive to IKEA the day after Dad got back. Great timing cause we got to see some beautiful wild flowers and bluebonnets on the way!

These girls love inspecting bugs. They found a ladybug and Bean Bean rushed in to get her ladybug outfit on.

Birthday time for Bubby! Skyping with Grama R.

Opening his own set of keys (cause he always wants Mom's).

And crawling in his new tunnel.

And he got to eat cake for the first time ever. And it was my first homemade cake ever.

He ate it up! He would pick a little off at a time and put it right in his mouth.

He was not as big a fan of the ice-cream as I thought he'd be. Everyone else in our family would rather eat ice-cream over cake and originally I had just planned on doing ice-cream. But Dad suggested doing the cake too, and I'm sure glad I did since it was Bubby's favorite part!

Christmas

Opening a few presents early while skyping with Grama T and Grampa A.

Our tree! All ready for Christmas morning. We felt so blessed by the generosity of our wonderful family members! Thank you!

Cool crayons from Grampa M and Grama R...which were used right away on their new coloring books.

Shirts from Aunt R and Uncle D!

The Little Red Hen handmade puppets by Aunt R....perfect size for their hands!

We let the girls pick out a gift for each family member at the Dollar Store and Big Sis saw this Kung Fu Panda bubble wand and thought of her dad.

Bubby loves his gadget board Grama T and Grampa A! (and so does everyone else!)

Trying on her new nightgown. This was her number one thing on her wish list.

We went to the park to play and Bean Bean sat right down in the dirt and said "I'm building a snow man!"...which was fine until I remembered that doing something like that could incur the wrath of the local fire ants...so we relocated to the playground and the woodchips.

Still enjoying the star lights you gave us D & S!

New socks from Grampa D and Grama K! We love them!
