Grama T and Aunt M Part 3

This little lady is why I needed to post tonight. We had a SUPER frustrating night with this stubborn kiddo (involving a pile of unfolded clothes and a bunch of excuses, time out, crying, etc). I needed to see some pictures of my kiddo in a good mood to remind myself that we will all feel better in the morning.

And someday I hope she uses that stubbornness to say no to all the bad stuff out there and not give in to the crowd.

Holding their first frog ever. We got to see 2 or 3 at the river with Gma T and Aunt M.

This kid was all about throwing the rocks in the water. I may or may not have been pelted at a short distance in the head with rocks and had to explain the concept of making sure no one is in front of you when throwing them into the water.

It started getting close to nap time and Bean Bean got tired but did not want to let go of the rocks. She even had one tucked under her head.

I was organizing Cub Scout stuff and Big Sis took some pictures again around the house.

This one is my favorite.

Preschool and playgroup trip to the Fire Station! They got a call right as they were about to let the kids sit on the truck...sad day! But we still got to see it up close for a few minutes.

We made some gak/slime the other day. Big Sis LOVED it, and Bean Bean had a love-hate relationship with it. She wanted to touch it but it bothered her that her hands were all messy. It was hilarious because I expected it to be the opposite. Big Sis will use a fork to eat some things like peach slices because she doesn't want her hands to get sticky and Bean Bean will paint her hands with paint.

Ballet started up again!

This little man is 5 1/2 months old now! He loves the Exersaucer, kicking his legs, grabbing everything within reach, and laughing, and sucking his thumb. He sleeps like a champ in his bed, but fights sleep when we are out and about. He's tasted rice cereal, bananas, sweet potato, applesauce, oatmeal cereal, and peaches and likes it all so far.

We are FINALLY getting some cooler weather, so today the girls enjoyed some playtime outside.

Big Sis was saying "Have a nice trip!" to each bubble that got high enough.
