Things we've been up to the end of March and the beginning of April.
Took pictures in a field of blue bonnets.
We dyed our Easter eggs on the Saturday before Easter and enjoyed them with Handsome at his work on Monday as egg-salad sandwiches. Yum!
We celebrated the Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ, on Easter Sunday. Our family basket had our first set of Scripture Scouts, our first subscription to The Friend magazine, and this years edition of our Family Faces Book. I think I may have been more excited about all of this than Big Sis and Baby Beluga.
We did an egg hunt for our Family Home Evening
the Monday after Easter and Big Sis really enjoyed finding all the eggs
and eating all the candy. We had a number in each egg that corresponded
to a picture of the Savior to teach about the events leading up to His
death and resurrection, but I think the candy may have been too
distracting...
And this weekend we listened to our living prophets and apostles during General Conference. In between the 2 Saturday sessions we went to a book sale at the library. During the last session, as we were getting a little restless, we made a temple out of our play-doh. Big Sis told me, regarding the flowers on the grounds, "actually they are alive."
And Baby Beluga turned 9 months old! She's been outside the womb longer than inside and boy, is she all about moving around. Today she was really working on balancing on her hands and knees. She can almost get herself back into sitting position.
We did some water coloring on the coloring book Grama T and Grampa A gave Big Sis for Christmas.
And practiced buttoning buttons.
